Gear box for multi purpose needs: one directional gear
We have developed a gear box for multi purpose use ranging from application as a manual work companion for swings converted to rotary power, human powered electricity generator, ocean wave power generator , and as an oscillations converter for internal combustion process.
Application as a wave power generator
When a floating body connected with a straight rod is linked with a rack of gears and this rack of gears meshing with a pinion gear wheel. The pinion gear wheel is meshing with will move up and down. Due to up and down movement of floating body, resulting reciprocal movement of rack of gears taken up by the pinion generates oscillatory movement on input shaft of unidirectional gear, thereby turned to continues rotation .
